Description

An antique Chinese late Qing Dynasty period wooden desk from the 20th century, with four drawers, carved curling scrolls, horse-hoof legs and custom black and red lacquer. Created in China during the late Qing Dynasty period in the early years of the 20th century, this elegant desk grabs our attention with its elegant lines and newly done black lacquer with red undertone. Presenting a rectangular top sitting above four drawers offering great storage opportunities for documents, stationary and pens, the table is raised on four straight legs with horse-hoof feet.

The grand linearity of the silhouette is perfectly contrasted by the carved scrolls accentuating the desk's apron, subtly echoed by the ring pulls on floral backplates of the brass hardware. With its clean lines and striking finish, this Chinese late Qing Dynasty period black and red lacquered desk from the early 20th century will make for a great decorative addition to any office.
